Mill Creek’s Run of the Mill offers a good time and a chance to raise money for a good cause

Well, it is, but in name only. Mediocre, it isn’t. Just the opposite: it’s excellent. Maybe a spectator summed it up best as she watched runners cross the finish line in the 25th annual Run of the Mill 5K roadrace recently. “I think,” she said, “this is a fun atmosphere.”

Why are T-shirts sold separately? Our t-shirts are very cool, and have been very popular in the past. But there are 2 main reasons we sell them separately.

1. No matter how cool they are, some folks just don’t wear t-shirts, so why should they have to pay $15 more for their registration if they don’t want one? It’s a matter of choice.

2. It is also a matter of financial responsibility. Since all race proceeds go to charity, the only way to avoid the cost of printing unwanted and un-needed costs is to take pre-orders. We have very few left-over shirts, and only spend money on the shirts people want to buy, so that means more money goes to charity.

Who puts this race on? – Columbia Funding Mortgage is proud to present the 26th Annual Run of the Mill. We thank all our sponsors for their generous support, without which we would not be able to donate such a high percentage of the race entry fees to charity. So please visit our sponsor’s websites (linked from their logos on this website) and their sponsor booths on race day. Let them know you appreciate their support of this event, and do business with them whenever possible. We believe in supporting businesses that give back to the community, like our sponsors do.
